Shop Floor Definition
Shop Floor Definition tables store shop floor information such as machine definitions, DCM definitions, and process variable information. Most of the values for shop floor definitions are defined through the Configuration program. Examples are the Machine Definitions, Reject Sets, and Process Variable Definitions.
Some information is maintained through the Installation and Update process. Examples include language strings and linearity tables.
For most sets of parameter definitions such as assist sets have a table _set defining set names and _def defining individual reasons reasons.
assist_set contains names of available assist sets.
assist_def contains names of individual reasons within a given assist set.
deq_set and deq_def define Boolean Sets for monitoring or control of DCM input and output.
dg_set and dg_def define display groups.
down_set and down_def define down reasons.
lintab_seq and lintab_def define linearity tables
reject_set and reject_def define reject reasons.
cp_def defines communications processors
mcim_def defines DCM general information
mcim_com_def defines DCM communication parameters
mcim_pdi_def defines DCM simulated contact paramaters
mach_def defines machine parameters
wc_def defines work centers
labcat_def defines labor categories
emp_def defines employee parameters
f2k_def defines site parameters
import_file_fmt and import_fld_fmt define import parameters
language_set and language_text define language strings used in PlantStar Panorama applications
prof_def defines profiles
pvar_def defines process variables
user_def and user_privs defines users and permissions for Monitor and Configuration
week_col_desc, week_def, week_sch, and year_sch define work center schedules
A graphic relationship for some of the shop floor definition tables is available.
