derivative smoothing
This is the size of the smoothing window used by the derivative algorithm. Values range from 1 to 8. A value of 1 gives a simple, point-to-point difference. A value of 8 gives maximum noise damping, but also damps rapid (real) signal changes. Values of 2 or 3 are recommended.
