post-down delay
Amount of time to wait before designating unassigned down time to Down Reason #1. The delay period can be from 0-30 minutes. When a machine enters a down state, down time is accrued under the down reason selected by an operator. At times, a machine enters a down state and no down reason is specified. If no down reason is specified and the machine exits the down state, an operator has the length of the post-down delay period to assign a reason.
If the post-down delay period expires and still no down reason has been specified, all accrued down time is allocated to Down Reason #1. For example, a machine's post-down delay period is set to 5 minutes. While running a job, the machines enters a down state. No reason is given. The machine then exits the down state.
An operator has 5 minutes from the time the machine started running normally to designate a down reason for the "unassigned" down time. If the delay is set to zero(0) and an operator does not select a specific reason, down time is automatically accrued under Down Reason #1.
