trigger event

The event which, after trigger delay elapses, starts the collection of a process variable or initiates the collection of a profile. The value can be the name of a digital equation or the number of a contact input.

For analog channels, thermocouples, and simulated process variables, this field refers to a contact which triggers the reading of a process variable. Up to 20 characters is available.
