Work Order Search String

The work order list can be customized to display specific work orders or a group of work orders. This field is the second step in customizing the work order list. It identifies the search string. For example, if only work orders for the product "flex couplings" are desired, then the words "flex couplings" should be typed into this field. If only work orders that are required by March 5th, 1997 are desired, then the date "03-05-97" should be typed into this field.

NOTE: The search method depends upon the search setting as defined on the User Preference window. There are three search methods -- left, exact, and embedded. Left matching means that if the word "battery" is typed into this field, work orders for battery clips, battery housing, etc. appear. Embedded matching means that if the word "an" is typed into this field, work orders for "handles" as well as "flanges" appear.
