Keys and Indices

Tables and Primary Keys for Version 430

Below is an alphabetical list of all tables and primary keys used in the PlantStar Panorama database. Use of these keys will greatly enhance the performance of queries or reports. Using only the first part of a primary key with several fields will enhance query performance and possibly return multiple records. For instance, using mach_seq and jts_mseq to query will return family_count records. For non-family jobs this will be unique, but for family jobs there will be multiple records.

After the primary keys section is an additional section on indices. Indices also enhance query performance. Indices may return a unique record or a group of non-unique records.
