The amount of a material component, in weight, which has been used by the current job. If runners and scrap are re-fed on a job, the amount of material used is based upon net pieces. If only runners are re-fed on a job, then the amount of material used is based upon gross pieces. If neither are being re-fed, then shot size is taken into consideration.
