deleting machines
To delete a machine:| · | Go to the Machine Setup window.

| · | Select the machine to delete by clicking on the arrow to the right of the Machine field. Move your cursor to the appropriate machine and click again.

| · | Click on the Delete button.

| · | To send your changes to the shop floor, select the Save Session command under the File menu.

NOTE: Once a machine has been deleted, the same machine can never exist again. If a new machine is created with the same name, it is not considered the same machine. Because of this rule within PlantStar Panorama, a machine with historical job records should be deleted only if it is to be permanently removed from the system. If its future is uncertain, the machine should not be deleted. It should be disabled so that it can be reactivated later.
