JIT - Product Standard Matching
JIT scheduling is an authorized feature that allows customers to switch product standards by selecting from a drop-down list of products on the work order edit screen. For instance, the customer knows he needs to make "Cooties", but his ERP system does not know which of 6 tools will be used. Each tool defines a unique product standard. Work order import requires the import of a unique "Cooties" standard. Once this is completed, the user can go to the Job edit screen and select from a drop-down list of unique tools (in this example) and over-write the work order with selected information from the selected product standard associated with that tool.The implementation of this feature requires a custom import template to be written.
