| · | Define your Shop Floor Characteristics - Describe your machines, process variables, DCMs, profiles, reason sets and all other relevant information from the Shopfloor Configuration program.
| · | Schedule Jobs To Run - Schedule jobs from the Monitor program. There are four basic steps to scheduling jobs -- creating shift schedules, creating product standards, creating work orders, and assigning work orders to machines to run as jobs.
| 1. | Creating shift schedules, is done from the Shift Schedule window. Shift schedules are created for a work center. Each work center has multiple schedules -- one for each year desired. Each week within a year may have a different work schedule.
| 2. | Creating product standards, is optional. Product Standards facilitate the creation of work orders (step three).
| 3. | Work orders are not optional. You must create work orders to schedule jobs. Work Orders can be created from the Job Schedule Board or the Work Orders windows
| 4. | Assigning work orders to machines to run as jobs through the Job Schedule Board window.
| · | Monitor the Shop Floor - After machines have been defined, summary, production, process and material lot tracking information can be monitored using a variety of windows within the Monitor program.
| · | Print and/or View Reports - Your system offers several types of reports. You can decide what reports should be printed automatically at the end of a shift or end of a job. You can also select certain reports for immediate printing.
| · | Generate Quality Assurance Information (optional) - X-bar and Range graphs are available for a machine's process history within the Monitor program. There is also a statistical process control package which interfaces with your system for further SPC analysis.
